The Goose D-Fence® is a specially engineered, retractable fence that can keep unwanted geese off your property. Install or remove in less than 10 minutes.

How do we know the Goose D-Fence® is effective at controlling geese? Researchers have discovered that geese require easy access to food and a drink of water every 30 minutes. By installing the Goose D-Fence® you eliminate that access, and the geese will move on to other locations which better suit them. Why don't they fly over the fence? During a couple of months each summer, they shed their feathers thus lose their ability to fly. During the rest of the summer, they simple prefer not to fly if they don't have to.

By installing the Goose D-Fence® close to the water line, you're eliminating their access, and the geese will move on to other locations which better suit them.

Each Goose D-Fence System includes:

1 additional post

There is 500 feet of line on the retractable system; you can span up to 250 feet with a typical two line set-up. Acquire an additional post for each 50 to 60 feet you are spanning; additional posts are recommended in order to create corners or accommodate curves or slopes.

I simply purchased the individual posts and high gauge fishing line from sporting goods store. It requires some extra knot tying, but less money if you need multiple posts. For example, I have purchased about 14 posts. I haven't seen a geese come up from at the water through the fence in 2 months, and we have about 80 geese in a moderately sized pond (fingers crossed it continues to work effectively).

I was very excited about this product, at first it was everything I wanted it to be, clean looking, the set up was super easy, instructions were clear and easy to follow! The “retractable “ part is where it fell short. I spent so much time fixing the line because it broke almost every time we tried to reel it back in. If the company could fix that issue I would start selling it to my clients again.

I live on a lake in New Hampshire. We were invaded by Geese last summer 2013. Discovered geese could not fly and our problems were solved by installing goose D-Fence. So much nicer looking than the rinky dink string fench we used put up each year. I take care to clean these up when I take them down each year so in year 4 I replaced the spools. I'm a Very Happy customer! They will up again this spring for year 5.

CHEAP! I have always used stakes and string in the past for my goose problem which has worked well. I started to create my own version of the goose d-fence until finding this online. I was very excited. Not so much anymore. It is very cheaply made and the string does not retract after being pulled out, not even all the way out. Too bad because I was going to design one that works much better. For those with a goose problem, use stakes and string. You may have to chase the geese one time for the system to work. This confuses them if they have to run into the string. After that, they do not come back for a year!!

Was very excited when i purchased this product. Easy to set up, kept the geese away from my property. Upon taking it down the 1st time the unit will not retract back in! So now I’m stuck with taking it all apart and hopefully putting it back together in 1 piece! For spending $95 for this and a couple of extra poles. I am very disappointed. Wanted something easy to set up and take down when I have company down by the lake. If this happens on a routine basis, this product will soon be available for free at my local dump!

Why spend the $$ when all you need is cheap twine and a lot of wood stakes . Works the same only you can’t retract it. I’ve used this method when the geese come in and think they own the place. They hate stepping over the twine, and afraid to go under it too.
