Goose D-Fence® System - Additional Post

Works well and very inconspicuous (so much so that it’s easy to walk into it). In second year of use on lakefront property. Easy to retract and move when goose season is (finally) over.

I live on a lake in New Hampshire. We were invaded by Geese last summer 2013. Discovered geese could not fly and our problems were solved by installing goose D-Fence. Why spend the $$ when all you need is cheap twine and a lot of wood stakes . Works the same only you can’t retract it. I’ve used this method when the geese come in and think they own the place. They hate stepping over the twine, and afraid to go under it too.

Put the goose fence up and the geese just walk right onto the beach between the lines. Doesn't work at all.

Was very excited when i purchased this product. Easy to set up, kept the geese away from my property. Upon taking it down the 1st time the unit will not retract back in! So now I’m stuck with taking it all apart and hopefully putting it back together in 1 piece! For spending $95 for this and a couple of extra poles. I am very disappointed. Wanted something easy to set up and take down when I have company down by the lake. If this happens on a routine basis, this product will soon be available for free at my local dump!

CHEAP! I have always used stakes and string in the past for my goose problem which has worked well. I started to create my own version of the goose d-fence until finding this online. I was very excited. Not so much anymore. It is very cheaply made and the string does not retract after being pulled out, not even all the way out. Too bad because I was going to design one that works much better. For those with a goose problem, use stakes and string. You may have to chase the geese one time for the system to work. This confuses them if they have to run into the string. After that, they do not come back for a year!!

So much nicer looking than the rinky dink string fench we used put up each year. I take care to clean these up when I take them down each year so in year 4 I replaced the spools. I'm a Very Happy customer! They will up again this spring for year 5.

I received and installed the fencing system last evening. This morning a flock of geese attempted to access my property and quickly gave up and turned away when they encountered the fence. Works exactly as advertised and definitely made my day. Thanks for a great product!

I installed the Goose D-Fence system with 7 additional posts, and I used all the posts within a 65 yard distance along my St. Lawrence riverfront property. Unfortunately the geese went right through the thin wire, which broke within 3 days. I do love the posts, which I now use to hold up the plastic fencing I bought at the local garden store.
