Description
Horned pondweed roots, stems, and leaves are all long and thread like. The leaves whorl around the stem. Tiny single flowers can be found in May or June on horned pondweed. The seeds are horn shaped and the fruit, located on small stalks near the leaves, has horn like parts on the edge.
