The first battery charged enough to send the Tormada out about 10 ft in the water before it died. We called and Pond Restoration replaced the battery and charger. The new battery never took a charge. We finally threw away this very expensive product and wished we had never spent the money on it!!

I found using the tormada is a much better and safer way to apply your chemicals . I used to use granule pellets and would breathe in the dust or get some into the eye. Its applies nicely and you have great control over its use especially if you get the gate valve to have control to open and close. I would recomend getting that.

I have used the Tormada to treat my lakeshore for the past four years. It has made treating enjoyable and enables areas further from my dock to be treated. The electric on off valve allows me to reposition the Tormada before opening the valve. It is easy to drive and has enough power to go over weeds. I strongly recommend this product.

It worked well except it does have trouble going over thick algae mats, but we did resolve that by staying along edge of algae mats & releasing product. Have had no problems with maneuvering the boat or with batteries.

I bought the Tormada to use on my lake that has water shield. This product is terrible, it dosen’t have the power to go over surface plants to distribute chemicals. When I first got the Tormada, the battery wouldn’t charge. It took a month to get a new one and then of course when I put it on my lake, it couldn’t move. When I called to return it, Lake Restoration wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee. I won’t do business with this company ever again.

Its time using leaked. Had to silicone around dispenser. Tried again and it is uncontrollable. You have to keep turning remote control back and forth constantly to get it to even half way go straight. Battery last half the time they say it does. Would not recommend.

Worked great! We have a ten acre pond that is chocked with weeds and muck. It took the hassle out of applying the chemicals to combat our water bonnet and lily problem. We tried navigate granules and as two adults that work full time and have two young kids. It took hours to apply and we didn’t get it spread evenly. The tormada took minutes and we noticed a real difference in the application area.

I purchased the extended model which operated quite well but leaked. LakeRestoration exchanged my leaking boat for another which turned out to have control defects that worsened. It is now inoperable. So far LR has offered no remedies . Nor have they answered my queries. df

Can you use any kind of herbicide or algaecide in this boat, or are there restrictions on what you can use?

…fantastic idea/product…1st practice run learned not to enjoy my favorite cold drink while “driving” !..2nd practice run … pure perfection…very easy to control (..I have auto valve … excellent control )…and most importantly, the tech help available at Lake Restoration is unsurpassed…period !

I have a ranch in Oklahoma with numerous ponds that are hard to access. Some of them are difficult to treat because I would have to launch a boat to make my treatments. With the TORMADA I am now able to treat all of my ponds right from the shore! The TORMADA works great!
