My pond was wall to wall Hydrilla and the last several years it was a mess all summer into fall and made the pond pitiful so I looked around and found Dibrox here and ordered the small bottle in case it didn’t work.

It really is strong as far as mixing it up in a 2 gallon spray jug and I got 8 refills in the sprayer with that tiny bottle and went out and sprayed a section and 2 days later there was nothing there so I did the same spraying around the pond and now there are no more Hydrilla anywhere and it even made those floating seeds disappear.

It didn’t kill any swimming creatures or crawling critters (crawdads) or even insects BUT killed those evil Hydrilla so my pond looks like it does in January again………so I will be making a new order to make sure I don’t have the pond destroyed again next year.

Have used this on my 3.3 acre pond for about 15 years. Pond is up to 31 ft deep but was experiencing coontail and duckweed issue. It worked better than advertised with no adverse effect on the fish. Bottom is clear and clean as well as lake edges.

  3. Lee Boock

Our pond was full of duck weed and after spraying the pond with Dibrox the duckweed started turning brown almost instantly. I think it is a great product and will continue to use the product this spring.

  4. Susan Summer

I have been using Dibrox for the past 3 summers. Our pond was filled with tall under water weeds that would reach the surface each year. Since i have been using Dibrox and stay on top of the new growth, it works awesome. I cleaned up our neighbors pond with it too. Doesn’t harm the fish, frogs or turtles.

  5. relax

Used Dibrox to target milfoil in a 75’x300’ boat harbor, it started knocking it down in about a week after treatment . I retreated in four weeks and it totally eradicated the unwanted weeds . It didnt effect fish or waterfowl. Ive used other products but this is the only one that worked for me . Shipping was fast. Thanks LR

  6. Darryl

I cant believe the compliments I receive on my pond. Dibrox is a great weed killer and using Mizzon and Sparklear followed up with some dye you will have the best looking pond anywhere. These products are awesome!

  7. Henry (verified owner)

This stuff is simply amazing. .if I did not see it I would not believe how great it worked. 18 ounces per gallon, sprayed once 4 hours later all duck weed is brown 2 days later it is all gone…

I can’t say enough about my experience with making a recent purchase with Lake Restoration. Living in New York there was some specific paperwork needed to obtain the herbicide I was interested in for my pond. The Customer Service Coordinator, (Katie) not only walked me thru the process but also emailed me the specific links for my state that made it easy to navigate. Katie stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process. My purchase was not large monetarily but Katie made me feel like I was a priority and that she was working just for me. WELL DONE Katie and the whole Lake Restoration team.

1/3 acre pond was covered with duckweed sprayed what I could reach with a garden sprayer 18 oz per gallon I used 2 gallons, within 4 hrs it was turning brown! Did same thing 10 days later it’s been 14 days since I started. My pond has never looked this good Great product Thanks so much

  10. Frederick (verified owner)

Sprayed this on my duckweed that had just about covered my 1/4 pond. Did about 1/3 of it this first day and about 4 hours later the section I sprayed had started to turn brown and die. 2 days and a big rain storm later and the duckweed is just about all gone. I will definitely keep a supply of this around to treat outbreaks as they occur.

We received the product yesterday with the boat applicator. We had to charge the battery even though it said it would come fully charged. After 9 minutes on a full charge the battery died and now the boat is stuck in the middle of the pond. Battery was supposed to last 20 minutes. Now I’m wondering if it will even work on the duckweed. Disappointed!

  14. Russ (verified owner)

I had duckweed all over my pond that it looked like you could walk on it. I purchased just a quart to see if it would work. I sprayed the 32 oz. to 2 gallons of water in a back pack sprayer on a Thursday evening around 4:30pm and my wife sent me a picture on Friday at 2:00pm and at least 15 feet all around the edges were turning brown. By Sunday the pond started to clear up but after a week the duckweed was back but very thin so I purchased another half gallon.

  15. Guy (verified owner)

I treated a 1/8 to 1/4 acre pond covered thick with Duckweed. I applied Dibrox two days ago, mix; 18 to 20 Oz to 1-1/2 gallons of water in a garden sprayer with the nozzle adjusted so it dispensed rain drop size droplets. In two days Duckweed is almost all TERMINATED. Only dead brownish duckweed remains after two days, even the middle area where my sprayer won’t reach is dead. In a couple more days it will be totally gone!!!!! Easy…….

My pond is 100’x150′ and was completely covered with duckweed. It is full of fish, frogs, turtles and we have a swan, 2 geese and 6 ducks. I was afraid to treat it with ANY chemicals but I took a chance on this product based on other’s comments. It worked like magic – took about 8 days to totally clear the pond. I mixed 18oz with one gallon of water and simply sprayed the outside perimeter – a second treatment is not going to be necessary. I did not have one dead fish, frog, turtle, swan, goose or duck! I love this product and urge anyone with duckweed to use it with confidence.

used this product for the first time 2 weeks ago…within a few days plants were dying, after a week it had done the job! Will definitely buy again.

Our pond looks a lot better after just one treatment.

  24. Anonymous (verified owner)

We used this product for the first time last year. Duckweed had taken over until it was a solid mass. Locals did not know what it was or how to treat it. Lake Restoration to the rescue! Ponds cleared up and this year we manage our issues proactively with the help of your staff and your products. Thanks so much. Brad Robbins Greenbrier , AR
