How to apply

  • Dilute Semera or Flumigard (dissolve first if using granules) and a surfactant with tap water, and evenly spray the surface over the plants
    • Dilute 1 oz. Semera/Flumigard and 1 oz. of surfactant in 1 gallon of water for floating weeds
    • Dense growth or submerged weeds will need a higher rate

When to apply

  • Apply these products on a sunny, calm day when the water temperature is 60° F or warmer
    • Treat when watermeal are actively growing and on the surface of the water
    • Treat early in the morning (sunrise)
    • May re-treat watermeal every 2 weeks or when there is new growth

  • Application rates are based on surface treatment, areas with dense growth or submerged weeds may require a higher rate to be used

    Make sure you read the SDS for these products. Don’t use these products in a thriving ecosystem. It brings death! My spouse thought this would be safe for our very large and life filled pond…I’m heartbroken.
