I was having real problems with watermeal for the last few seasons on my one acre farm pond . This product cleared up this persistent type of algae with two applications and I’m enjoying a clean pond this summer . Thanks lake Restorsyion for your expertise!

When we purchased this property a year ago, both ponds were severely neglected. Moslty overran by Watermeal and Duckweed but a mix of other algaes. I have treated our larger pond with a product from a different provided (still Fluomoxine) and had decent success, but as expected with these boogers, they come back. Our smaller pond catches most of the runoff and then feeds our larger pond, so naturally, what it deals with, so does our larger pond. We finally got our larger pond under control (for now) and shifted focus to the smaller pond. It was bright green and 100% covered with Duckweek and Watermeal. I purchased Bayflox and the Surfactant, mixed up 15 gals and went to work treating around 50% of the pond. 2 days later I noticed a color change in the plants, and 2 more days we started seeing it die off. After 5 days, the part I sprayed was totally clear… but the back half was still covered. Cue the Kansas winds and the back half moved to the front half and covered about 60% of the pond again. Due to weather and heat, I put off treating … and to my surprise, the Duckweed and Watermeal started to turn brown and die off, without a specific treatment. I can only assume that there was enough residual treatment in the water that when the wind pushed the untreated area into the treated area it started to kill it off. I’ll keep a close eye on it but as any of us would be, I was very pleased. Very sure we will need anotehr treatment soon, but happy I don’t have to do it within 30 days of the last treatment! Overal, we are very pleased with the products we purchased and have already referred my wifes sister to your site … they have a terribly lilly pad issue. Thanks so much.
